·         Set up classroom building for TMN chapter monthly meeting

·         Assist in setup for A Forest for Every Classroom

o   30 educators will spend a week at the forest and touring learning about their surrounding environment, issues, developing Place-based learning projects

o   Volunteers can help each evening setup for next day or morning setup for classroom instruction

·         Set up classroom and help layout supplies and materials for workshop on 15^th – Walk with Nature… Talk with Art

·         CASA 5K Run and Family Day – volunteer helping with Texas Forest Service booth with interactive family activities from 7 a.m. to noon at Jones State Forest – Middle Lake

·         National Public Lands Day – at Jones State Forest, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. community volunteers will walk the forest trail system and creeks picking up trash.  Volunteers are needed to periodically check on the five stations where trash bags are picked up and dumped off.  Answer any questions.
